Solar TAP at the Austrian PV & Storage Conference in Vienna

Solar TAP Manager Dr. Jens Hauch represented the Helmholtz Institute Erlangen-Nürnberg (HI ERN) at this year’s Austrian Conference on Photovoltaics and Storage, held from 4–5 November in Vienna. The event brought together over 400 industry and research stakeholders to discuss the future of photovoltaic deployment, energy storage, and the policy frameworks needed to accelerate the energy transition.

As part of the conference programme, Dr. Hauch presented a talk titled:

In his presentation, he outlined the Helmholtz Association’s perspective on the technological diversification of photovoltaics and highlighted several emerging PV technologies that are approaching commercial readiness. Solar TAP’s mission played a central role in his presentation emphasising how the platform supports technology transfer, industry collaboration, and accelerated innovation cycles across the entire PV value chain.
